FACT-FINDING MISSION!!!!! LOSING YOURSELF TO FIND YOURSELF!!!

So today I want to talk about fact-finding!!!!! You see, just within the last 3 days I have had more than 10 people stop me asking me questions about my diet, my workouts, post-workout meals, suppliments(suppliments? Never have, never will...), recovery techniques, etc and the list goes on and on and on.......These people range from my fellow trainers who look up to me as an idol, my personal-training clients who have entrusted me with their well-being, fellow yogis whom I meet at the yoga-classes, gym members who look at me as their inspiration, friends who have been out for a meal with me, and even random people I meet at the local grocery store, or at the park when I go for a walk, or at the club when I go to hung out with my friends. These are people who are on a fact-finding mission. They want to understand me better, in order to understand themselves better. They compare themselves with me, and feel the need to ask questions. They give me an audience and pay attention to my explanations and examples. I do my best to be basic, simple and to make myself loud and clear, and use that opportunity to share ideas with others. But this is not the fact-finding mission I want to talk about today.

Today I want to talk about my own fact-finding. You see, I do a lot of research, I read lots of articles and make notes, I listen to different people and try my best to gather all information that I can, and I ask questions to get clarification. But none of these could offer me all the answers that I have been looking for in order to understand my own body, especially when it comes to healing and recovery. But then came Zoe.......she is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

Zoe is Nationally Certified In Therapeutic Massage. She is a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner. She is a Registered Massage Practitioner. She has lots of experience working with professional athletes, and I am a good example. She has made me understand my body better, the importance of deep-tissue massage and how fascia is a huge part of our well-being, a fact that had been under-estimated for many decades, until just recently. I couldn't go without mentioning how important her professionalism is to my general well-being, my mobility is better, my range of motion has improved, my recovery is outstanding, my sleep has majorly improved, and my own understanding of my body is amazing. These are the facts that I needed to spice up my lifestyle, and my mission was, and will always be, fruitful. I'm more flexible than I have been in years, and I can move better.

All of you who live in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area, and are looking for Synergist Healing and massage for mind, body and spirit, see Zoe. She is amazing. Find out for yourself at www.synergisthealing.com or massage@synergisthealing.com. Maybe you will understand your body better, like me. Now my movements while teaching kick-boxing are better, my yoga poses are less stressful and way better, my sleep is good, my recovery is amazing, I stretch better and for longer.....simply put, I feel great. I treat my body the way it should be treated, and this has led to improved performance. And so now I want to use the same knowledge that I have gained, thanks to Zoe, to improve my body, mind and spirit, and I urge you to do the same. Remember, life is beautiful. Look around you, and see all the beauty that surrounds you. Smile. Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. After all....
